Toyota’s presence in communities all over the world aims to have a positive impact on the environment. It hopes to realize sustainable development together with the society. The objective of this initiative is to cultivate environmental awareness and instill good environmental habit from youth as they are the future caretaker of the environment.

Cultivating Environmental Awareness For Young Generation

Toyota Eco Youth (TEY) Program, a partnership between UMW Toyota Motor and the Ministry of Education, aims to foster environmental awareness and promote eco-respect among secondary school students.

Mechanism

A step-by-step journey from submission to finals, guiding students from idea creation and training to project execution, evaluation, and final selection.

Submission

  • Open for entry to Nationwide secondary schools.
  • Video submission of environment issue surrounding community.

Shortlisting

  • Top 30 schools will be shortlisted to advance to workshop & training.
  • 03

    Implementation

  • Project implementation by schools.
  • Periodic update to mentor for checking on project progress.
  • 04

    Evaluation

  • Evaluation Effectiveness and judging of project.
  • 05

    Finalists

  • The top 15 finalists will advance to the final.
